In CBM Community Church, Kasarani, the sound of worship rises from a small yet passionate church where music has become more than a Sunday activity—it’s a ministry that reaches far beyond the church walls. The CBM Kasarani Church Choir, now known as the CBM Church Band, has recently recorded a beautiful collection of worship songs that capture the heart of their congregation: praise, perseverance, and hope.
Each song carries the spirit of their mission—“Embodying the body of Christ, where everyone belongs.” What began as a humble church choir has now grown into a vibrant ministry that’s touching hearts across the community.
The band is currently preparing to produce accompanying music videos, which will allow their message to reach even more people and inspire others to worship in spirit and truth. Their journey is a powerful reminder that God uses every gift—whether it’s a voice, an instrument, or a heart of service—to draw people closer to Him.
Through rhythm, harmony, and heartfelt lyrics, the CBM Church Band is spreading the gospel in a way that transcends words—uniting believers and strengthening the shared faith of the CBM community.
Below is a video on one of there song called “Kwanini“ which is a powerful message about hypocrisy and judging others.
The song is drawn from the biblical passage Matthew 7:3-5
“Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.”
