From September 20th to 23rd, we were blessed to welcome the David’s Hope International Leadership Team to Eburru (Scott Sweat, Dave Marrow, and Fred Baerenz). Their visit was not only a time of connection but also of witnessing the fruit of faithful partnership.

Throughout their stay, the Team toured the schools, met with staff, and spent time with students whose lives have been transformed by DHI’s sponsorship program. One unforgettable highlight was a pizza lunch shared with the entire CBM community from the Lower school and the High School—a simple gesture that brought immeasurable joy. For many children, it was their first taste of pizza, but even more so, it was a taste of love and belonging.

The visit concluded with strategic discussions about strengthening DHI’s partnership with CBM and expanding the reach of our shared mission. Each conversation centered around one goal: advancing the glory of God through sustainable, Christ-centered transformation in Eburru.
