“My name is Martin Ngugi, I am 16 years old and I am in form 2. (Grade 10)
I was injured in January 2016 while helping my parents in the village.
I lost half of my right arm. I became disabled.
I lost hope in life and wished the sledge knife had cut my neck instead of my arm.
But just a month later I was welcomed into the fold of CBM and they helped me cope with my disability.
The teachers took me through the steps of learning how to care for myself,
they even taught me how to write with my left hand.
My faith in myself and my faith in God returned.
I’m a practicing Christian and I believe in God who can salvage my broken life.
Camp brethren Christian school is my hope.
I don’t know what I would have done without it”.
Martin is just one of many students who have found a place at CBM to thrive and succeed.
Martin is not disabled, he is abled differently.
He is a kind, smart and hardworking young man.
