God Provides Land for CBM Kasarani Church: A Place to Belong at Camp Brethren Ministry Church
For years, the congregation of Camp Brethren Ministries Kasarani Church, located in the Kasarani area of Naivasha, Kenya, has carried a special dream in their hearts: to one day worship together in a permanent church sanctuary of their own. That dream has now taken a remarkable step toward becoming reality.
Through the generosity of a donor who contributed $35,000, CBM Kasarani Church has successfully acquired land for its future sanctuary – a milestone that has brought tremendous joy, gratitude, and renewed hope to the congregation.
See a video below of the CBM Kasarani Church praising the lord:
The journey to this moment has been one of perseverance, prayer, and faithful giving.
For several years, church members have worked toward acquiring land, contributing what they could and trusting God to provide the resources needed to establish a permanent place of worship. Like many growing church plants, CBM Kasarani has been operating from rented premises. As the congregation has grown, the available space has become increasingly challenging.
Currently, the church holds two services every Sunday, and an evening bible study session on Wednesday which accommodates worshippers within the limited space. Children’s Sunday school also takes place in a separately rented room, allowing younger members of the congregation to receive biblical teaching in an environment suited to them. While these arrangements have allowed ministry to continue, the congregation has long desired a larger, more welcoming space where families can gather, children can learn, and the community can experience the love of Christ together.
The acquisition of land represents the first major step toward that vision.
More Than Land – A Foundation for Future Ministry
For the Kasarani congregation, this blessing is about much more than owning property. It is about creating a permanent home for worship, discipleship, fellowship, and community outreach. A future sanctuary will provide room for the congregation to grow, create better spaces for children’s ministry, and welcome more people from the surrounding Kasarani community. It will also offer a stable foundation from which the church can strengthen its outreach programs and continue sharing the Gospel with families who may not yet have a church community to call home.
Under the leadership of Pastor Steve Njenga, founder and overseer of Camp Brethren Ministries, the CBM church network has continued expanding its ministry to reach more communities. With five churches now planted, the vision remains rooted in a simple but meaningful commitment:
“To build the Body of Christ, where everyone belongs.”
This vision is reflected in the way CBM churches seek to welcome people from different walks of life, nurture spiritual growth, and create communities where individuals and families can experience belonging and the love of Christ.

We are deeply grateful to the generous donations whose gift made this land acquisition possible, as well as the church members who have prayed, contributed, and remained faithful throughout the journey. Their combined efforts remind us that God often brings great things to life through the generosity and perseverance of His people.
“Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.” — Psalm 127:1
The Journey Continues
Although the land has been secured, the vision is still unfolding. The next chapter will involve planning and mobilizing resources toward constructing a sanctuary that can serve the Kasarani congregation and surrounding community for years to come.
We invite you to join us in thanking God for this remarkable provision and praying for wisdom, resources, and faithful partners as the church moves toward construction.
Beyond Kasarani, CBM is also working to strengthen its existing churches and establish new congregations in communities where there are opportunities to share the Gospel.
As we celebrate this milestone, our prayer is that the future Kasarani sanctuary will become more than a building. May it be a place where families find hope, children grow in faith, lives are transformed, and generations come to know the love of Jesus Christ.
One way supporters can make a meaningful difference is by helping provide pastoral support, allowing church leaders to focus on discipleship, outreach, and guiding their congregations toward long-term sustainability.
