From September 10th to 15th, we were honored to host a Lifeshape team of 9 members who came to serve, teach, and experience the incredible work God is doing through Camp Brethren Ministries and David’s Hope International.
During their visit, the Lifeshape team led impactful leadership sessions for 63 Grade 11 students at Camp Brethren High School (CBHS), focusing on the Lead Others principles—a class designed to instill the values of servant leadership grounded in biblical truth.
Later in the week, the team facilitated a two-day Training of Trainers (ToT) program that brought together 10 CBM pastors, 10 teachers from Camp Brethren Schools, and 9 Rachel’s Hope Scholars. The goal was both simple and transformative: to equip CBM staff, RHS Scholars, and church leaders to independently teach and multiply these leadership principles within their own contexts without relying on Lifeshape Mission Teams—ensuring the program becomes a lasting part of the CBM culture.
The impact is already taking root. The 9 RHS scholars have proposed to launch a leadership club at their university, where they plan to apply the Lead Self and Lead Others lessons and mentor their peers in Christ-centered leadership.
Participants of the Training of Trainers (ToT) program were also each awarded with a certificate showing that they are equipped to engage and develop others, multiplying impact and fostering servant-leadership wherever they serve.
The atmosphere was transformative. Pastors shared testimonies of how leadership rooted in humility had changed their approach to ministry. Teachers and Rachel’s Hope Scholars spoke of newfound confidence to lead with empathy and purpose on top of learning better ways of facilitating the Leadership Curriculum.
The partnership with Lifeshape is more than an event. It’s the multiplication of leadership through faith, equipping generations who will impact communities and nations.
