Thanksgiving: A Heartfelt Thank You from DHI

Dear Friends,

Happy Thanksgiving!

On this special day, we pause to reflect on God’s abundant blessings throughout this year. At David’s Hope International (DHI), in partnership with Camp Brethren Ministries (CBM) in Eburru, Kenya, we are deeply grateful for how the Lord has worked through each of you to touch lives and transform hearts.

As the Apostle Paul wrote, “I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now” (Philippians 1:3-5). This verse beautifully captures the gratitude we feel for all who partner with us in this Kingdom work.

To Our Sponsors, Donors, and Supporters

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to each of you who have stood with us.

– To our sponsors: Your commitment ensures that children in need can pursue education without the burden of school fees. Your support has given these young souls a future filled with hope and possibility.

– To our donors: Your generosity builds schools, hospitals, and churches—creating infrastructure that empowers an entire community.

– To our prayer warriors and kind-hearted supporters: Your intercession and tangible acts of love energize and inspire us every step of the way.

– To the missionaries who have traveled great distances to serve: Your hands and hearts have touched lives and left a lasting impact in Eburru.

Thank you for being the bedrock of our work and for embodying the spirit of giving.

To Camp Brethren Ministries (CBM) and Its Staff

We are incredibly grateful for our partners on the ground in Kenya, Pastor Steve, Mary, and the entire CBM team.

– Special Thanks to Pastor Steve and Mary: Pastor Steve and Mary, your vision is the foundation of this mission. You carry the light that illuminates what David’s Hope International and Camp Brethren Ministries should be. Your faith and leadership are a blessing to us all.

Your visionary leadership continues to guide and inspire our mission. Your dedication to identifying students and families in need ensures that no one is left behind.

– To the teachers and non-teaching staff: Your commitment to nurturing young minds is building a brighter future for Eburru.

– To the hospital attendants: Your tireless efforts to provide healthcare are a testament to your compassion and selflessness.

Your collective work is the heartbeat of our mission, and we are profoundly thankful for your dedication.

To DHI Leadership and Staff

– Scott and Susan Sweat, your leadership lights the way for all of us. Your tireless efforts to secure funding and build bridges for CBM fuel our ability to fulfill this mission.

– To the DHI staff, thank you for your unwavering passion and hard work behind the scenes to make every initiative successful.

Your commitment to connecting hearts and resources is transforming lives, and for that, we are immensely grateful.

To the Eburru Community:

– To the resilient and inspiring people of Eburru: Thank you for welcoming us into your lives. Your courage, hope, and determination motivate us to serve with even greater zeal. Together, we are building a community of opportunity, love, and faith.

To Our New Partnership: Rachel’s Hope Scholarship (RHS):

We are especially thankful for our new partnership with Rachel’s Hope Scholarship. This collaboration opens doors for CBM students to pursue higher education and chart paths to meaningful careers. Your support is a gift that will ripple through generations.

As we give thanks today, we are reminded that none of this would be possible without God’s grace and the love and generosity of people like you. Together, we are creating a brighter future for the children and families of Eburru.

Psalm 107:1, “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.” May we continue to rely on His guidance as we serve His children in Eburru and beyond.

May your Thanksgiving be filled with joy, love, and countless blessings.

With gratitude,

David’s Hope International
