A season of new beginnings has arrived for nine remarkable young men and women as they officially begin their Rachel’s Hope Scholarship journey. On May 5th, 2026, the RHS 2026 Scholars stepped onto campus and into a brand-new chapter of life—one filled with opportunity, growth, and hope for the future.

For these students, university represents far more than simply continuing their education. It represents dreams becoming reality. Many have overcome significant challenges and come from backgrounds where higher education once felt distant or even impossible. Yet through hard work, perseverance, and God’s faithfulness, they are now taking a step toward futures that will impact not only their own lives but also their families and communities.

Before classes officially began, every effort was made to ensure the students transitioned into this new season with stability and support. Their shared residences were carefully prepared and fully furnished, creating an environment where they could feel at home from the very beginning. Each student received essential resources to support both their academic and personal journey, including laptops, Bibles, learning materials, school fee support, household furniture, appliances, and other necessities.

The intentional design of the RHS residences extends beyond providing housing. Students live together in a community built around accountability, friendship, and spiritual growth. Through shared responsibilities and daily life experiences, they learn teamwork, discipline, and the value of supporting one another.

Just days before joining school, parents gathered on May 2nd for a special orientation and commissioning program. The day included tours of the school environment, student agreements, and a dedicated prayer session where families, staff, and students committed this journey into God’s hands. The atmosphere was filled with excitement, gratitude, and hope as parents watched their children step into opportunities they had long prayed for.

The students were also introduced to the Leadership Academy Program, which will become a foundational part of their RHS experience. Their excitement was evident as they learned that the program would equip them not only academically, but also spiritually and personally as future servant leaders.

The diversity of career paths chosen by the students—from Computer Science and Law to Nutrition, Education, and Information Technology—reflects the incredible gifts and passions God has placed within them. These are future teachers, technology leaders, health professionals, and change-makers preparing to serve their communities with excellence.

As they begin this journey, we remain deeply grateful for everyone who continues to pray, encourage, and support these students. We trust that God, who has opened this door, will continue guiding every step ahead.
