Welcome to Camp Brethren High School, Grade 9’s Class of 2023! We were thrilled to welcome 53 new students to our school Family, including some amazing special needs kids.
As you may know, this year marks the implementation of the new Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) in Kenya. The CBC is designed to promote more hands-on, practical learning that is relevant to students’ lives and prepares them for success in the 21st century.
We are excited to be among the first schools to adopt the CBC, and we believe it will provide an excellent foundation for our students’ future academic and career success. With its emphasis on skills like critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication, the CBC aligns perfectly with our school’s mission to prepare students for a rapidly changing world.
Of course, every student is unique, and that’s especially true of our special needs kids. We are committed to providing them with the support and accommodations they need to thrive in our school community. Whether it’s extra help in the classroom, modified assignments, or specialized equipment, we will do whatever it takes to ensure that every student has an equal opportunity to succeed.
At Camp Brethren, we believe that every student has the potential to make a positive impact on the world. We are proud to welcome our new Grade 9 students to our school community, and we look forward to seeing what they will accomplish over the next four years.
