February 2011 Praise and Prayer Requests

Please join us in praying for the work in Eburru and in praising God for the mighty ways in which He answers our prayers!

Praises:

  • 418 individual donations were made to David’s Hope in 2010 – God blessed us greatly during our 2nd year!
  • New partners from around the USA are becoming aware of our mission & working alongside us to support Eburru
  • The African Inland Church (AIC) of Eburru planted a new church nearby named AIC Jerusalem.  Since it opened in January, they have already seen 15 new people join the church, including several who haven’t been inside a church in years or ever before

Prayers:

  • Successful school year, as the school now ministers to children in preschool – 2nd grade & 5th grade
  • Wisdom in how to build up & create sustainable programs in Eburru which will fund their current & future needs
  • The medical clinic & maternity ward staff and the many patients they will care for this month
  • Work at the school dorm to be completed so that children can begin living there
  • A full-time maternity nurse and a full-time school administrator are being sought.  Pray for Steve  & Mary as they search for the right candidates to hire
  • Volunteers & leaders to raise up and get involved in David’s Hope’s many goals for 2011 – there is a lot to accomplish!
  • Two woman who recently joined the AIC Jerusalem church but had not been in a church community for 15+ years.  Pray for them to grow in their faith & discipline.
