There is no greater joy than knowing that you belong. Especially to a family of believers where love, peace and unity prevails. This is the essence of the CBM churches where ‘everybody belongs’ is our passionate motto. For the last couple weeks, God has continued to bless our congregation at CBM Kasarani community church. We have had 11 people that have come to know the Lord and have joined the fellowship. Since our commencement two and half months ago, God has revealed to us the need of intentionality in loving and caring for His people. The following story of John unravels that truth and the ultimate power of Christ that delivers us from the power of sin.
John is the only remaining child of his parents who are also deceased. He has been traumatized by the happenings of his family for a long time. This led him to get into alcoholism and abuse. He has since lived a miserable, hopeless life and lonely life for many years. When we shared the love of Christ and the goodness of knowing Him, he accepted to come to the church. His testimony was moving when he accepted Jesus as his savior. He has never been to any church for 40 yrs and it was so refreshing to see what God does in the ministry of reconciliation to His people. Now John is a very happy man and feels the warmth of belonging. Life in its essence begins when we belong. We thank God with John and the others that has come to that knowledge and pray that God will continue Using the Camp Brethren churches to reach out with love. John has since been joined by his wife in the church and are both serving God.
THANKSGIVING AND PRAYER REQUESTS
We are thankful to God for our church’s child dedication service which went well on October 20th 2024. 20 children were dedicated. We pray for the families for God to continue strengthening them.
We would also like to thank God for the multiplication of the numbers of people joining the church.
Please pray for the congregation that has already outdone the current meeting place. We are fundraising to buy a church property so we can construct a new sanctuary.
Thank you!
We are very grateful!
