Building Homes, Growing Churches, and Spreading Hope

As we reflect on the impact shared in our recent newsletter, we are filled with gratitude for what God is doing through faithful partnership. This past year has been a powerful reminder that when God’s people come together with purpose and obedience, transformation takes root—both physically and spiritually.

One partnership we celebrate with deep thanksgiving is our collaboration with the Paradigm Foundation, whose work alongside Camp Brethren Ministries (CBM) is changing lives from the ground up and strengthening the Church at the heart of the community.

Homes That Preach the Gospel: From Destitution to Dignity

Through the Paradigm Foundation, CBM has been able to build high-quality, permanent, solid brick-walled homes for some of the most vulnerable families in the Eburru region.

Before this intervention, many of these families lived in muddy, worn-out, unhygienic, and unsafe structures—homes that offered little to no protection, dignity, or stability. Today, they live in solid, permanent houses with two or three bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen, a living room, and an on-site water storage tank—safe, durable homes that restore far more than shelter; they restore dignity, security, and hope for the future.

These homes:

  • Restore dignity and pride to families

  • Provide safety, stability, and permanence

  • Stand as a beacon of hope to the surrounding community

Since this partnership began, more than 24 permanent homes have been built. Looking ahead to 2026 and beyond, CBM and the Paradigm Foundation are prayerfully committing to building at least six homes every year, trusting God to provide the resources, labor, and strength needed to continue.

“Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.” — Psalm 127:1

What truly sets Paradigm Foundation projects apart is their discipleship-centered approach. Every housing project goes hand in hand with spiritual investment. Beneficiary families are brought together for:

  • Fellowship and mutual encouragement

  • Biblical teaching and prayer

  • Gospel outreach within their communities

These homes become gathering places where faith is strengthened, relationships are built, and the love of Christ is shared—ensuring that physical transformation is always matched with spiritual growth.

A Church Built for Growth

Another beautiful fruit of this partnership is the CBM Crater Lake Church, whose building was graciously funded through Paradigm Foundation support.

Since the completion of the church building, growth has been both clear and measurable:

  • Adult attendance has grown from 30 to 60

  • Children’s attendance has increased from 15 to 30

  • Youth attendance has doubled from 10 to 20

The church was intentionally designed to accommodate future growth—and it is already doing just that. Recently:

  • 15 members were baptized, publicly declaring their faith

  • Two outreach crusades were held, taking the gospel beyond the church walls

  • New members joined the church as a direct result of these outreaches

This growth has been shepherded through the faithful leadership of Pastor Peter Wamundui, under the guidance of Rev. Steve Njenga, Founder and Overseer of CBM Churches.

These stories reflect the heart of our End of Year Campaign:

  • Homes that restore dignity

  • Churches that grow and make room for revival

  • Pastors supported as they faithfully shepherd God’s people

  • Communities transformed through faith, discipleship, and action

As we look toward 2026, we are prayerfully trusting God to use this partnership to expand His work even further.

“How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news.” — Romans 10:15

Thank you for being part of this journey. Together, through faith, prayer, and generosity, we are building the Kingdom of God one home, one church, and one life at a time.

Warm wishes,

From DHI.
