Mary Nduta Muiruri, aged 18, hails from Nyakinyua, a small village in Eburru, and was raised in a large, devoutly God-fearing household. As the eighth-born of nine children, she is the daughter of Peter Muiruri and Margaret Wambui, hardworking peasant farmers whose faith and resilience deeply shaped her upbringing. Known for her humble, polite, and respectful nature, Mary reflects the strong Christian virtues instilled in her by her family. In her leisure time, she enjoys playing football and holds a special heart for community service, frequently visiting and comforting the elderly in her village.

Currently, Mary is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition and Dietetics at Kabarak University. Her choice of study is profoundly inspired by her roots; having witnessed many families and children in her village suffer from a lack of proper meals and dietary guidance, she developed a deep desire to intervene. Mary is firmly committed to using her professional training to mentor her community on healthy living lifestyles and to eradicate childhood malnutrition in her village. Driven by compassion and faith, she aspires to ensure the next generation grows up healthy and strong, leveraging her education to bring lasting physical and social transformation to her society.
