David Gitahi is from the small village of Eburu, where life is shaped by simplicity, faith, and hard work. He was raised in a disciplined, God-fearing home, values that continue to guide his character and life choices. David is one of five siblings. His parents are peasant farmers who work tirelessly to provide for the family’s daily needs. Growing up in this environment instilled in David the values of perseverance, humility, and unwavering trust in God, even during difficult seasons.
Witnessing his family’s struggles has deeply motivated David and strengthened his desire to change the future for his loved ones. He carries a strong calling not only to succeed personally, but also to uplift his community and become a source of hope for others facing similar challenges. His vision is rooted in service, compassion, and impact.
David is currently pursuing studies in Computer Science, a field he chose because he believes technology has the power to create opportunities beyond the limitations of background or location. Through this course, he is gaining practical skills in problem-solving and innovation that can lead to sustainable work and meaningful social transformation. He views technology as a tool God is using to prepare him for a purposeful future.
