Pastor Steve Njenga’s Camp Brethren Ministries’ Kasarani Church hosted an unforgettable Open Air Crusade, drawing the local community together for three days of worship, witness, and salvation. During the weekend of May 16 the air in Kasarani pulsed with powerful praise, heartfelt preaching, and the unmistakable presence of God.
The theme—“Jesus is the Saviour of the World” (John 3:16)—echoed through the open grounds as people from all walks of life gathered to hear the Good News. From the very first moment, it was clear that this was more than an event—it was a divine appointment.
The crusade featured the a group of 12 members from the Anglican Youth Fellowship (AYF) Band, an African missionary team from Kampala, Uganda, who made the long journey to be part of this mission. Their music stirred hearts and uplifted spirits, creating a powerful atmosphere for worship and drawing many to the foot of the cross. Their joyful sacrifice and anointed ministry reminded us that the Gospel truly knows no borders. The Word was preached with boldness and clarity. The message was simple, yet life-changing: God loves us, He gave His Son, and through Him we have eternal life.
As the sun set over Kasarani each evening of the crusade, many responded to the altar call, choosing to surrender their lives to Jesus. Testimonies flowed, lives were rededicated, and the light of the Gospel pierced the darkness.
As John 3:16 reminds us:
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
This event was a beautiful reflection of that love—a love that is active, personal, and powerful.
We thank all who prayed, gave, and participated, especially our brothers and sisters from Uganda, for reminding us that when we lift up the name of Jesus, He truly draws all people to Himself (John 12:32).
Let us continue to walk in the light of this revival and carry the message of hope wherever we go.
We have uploaded a compilation of video clips from the events that transpired during the crusade. You can watch them below:
